ALEXANDRA LYKOVA
Alexandra Lykova is a Russian designer and decorator, a double graduate of the British Higher School of Art and Design, where she studied Interior Design and Product Design.
She focuses on emotion, tactility, and the visual appeal of an object.
“For me, the final image has always been essential: the way people perceive an object through their senses, the aesthetic impression it will create for them. This is the first question I ask myself. Only afterwards does the process of merging this image with specific details begin. The approach moves from the general to the particular and from the particular back to the general — a continuous movement towards each other.”
Being the daughter of a decorative artist, Alexandra absorbed a love for aesthetics and beauty from an early age. Before studying design professionally, she spent almost six years gaining experience within her mother’s team.
After completing her specialized education, she worked for four years as a lead designer at the internationally renowned architectural bureau of Oleg Klodt, where she gained invaluable experience and knowledge.
Today, Alexandra is part of the creative core of the MODENATURE brand, serving as the company’s Art Director and Lead Designer.
