ARSENIY KARINSKIY

The development of his artistic skills was largely influenced by his father, a self-taught artist, with whom Arseniy worked as an apprentice from childhood. The natural continuation of this path was the Faculty of Architecture at the State University of Land Management, after which he began his independent creative career: large-scale architectural projects for residential complexes and public buildings, as well as private, public, and office interiors.

Arseniy Karinskiy considers himself part of the old school of masters, where the author can design the building, the interior, and the furniture — right down to the door handles. For him, style or the designer’s name is not the most important thing; what matters is that everything is created with quality. He considers his main strength to be the ability to perceive beauty in everything — from the simple lines of minimalism to the intricate complexity of classical forms. He is interested in the interaction between cultures and styles, and in the combination of old and new.

“Furniture design is a hobby for me. Sometimes I use rare breaks between current projects to create furniture simply for the pleasure of it, without any particular purpose, as a mental exercise. I enjoy creating my own collection for MODENATURE. I am inspired by the history of the company, the continuity of generations, the revival of traditions in harmony with new trends, the visual simplicity of the collections, and at the same time the charisma and wit inherent in each piece.

I like it when a piece of furniture makes you smile, evokes emotions, and creates the desire to touch it — for me, this is a sign of quality.”
